What is a lace wig?

A lace wig has a sheer lace panel at the hairline that creates the appearance of hair growing naturally from the scalp. Our pieces are designed to be undetectable under stage lighting, on camera, and in person.

Are your wigs suitable for beginners?

Yes. Whether this is your first wig or you have been wearing them for years, our pieces are made to perform at every level. If you need guidance on application or care, our tutorials and team are here.

Are wigs only for performers or people with hair loss?

Not at all. Plastique Beauty pieces are for anyone who has decided that the way they show up in the world matters. Performers, yes. But also the person who simply wants to feel their best on any given day.

How do I choose the right wig?

Reach out before ordering if you are unsure. Tell us your inspiration, your measurements, and what you are going for. We will point you in the right direction.

How do I put on a wig?

Start with a wig cap to flatten your natural hair, secure the wig from front to back, and use your chosen adhesive to lay the lace. Tutorials are available on our social pages. DM us at @plastiquebeauty if you need personal guidance.

What adhesive should I use?

Wig tape is our recommendation. It is the gentlest option on both the lace and your skin, creates minimal buildup, and allows for the cleanest removal. Glue and hairspray are alternatives but require more upkeep over time. Always loosen the bond with warm water before removing the wig.

Can you wash and style a human hair wig?

Yes. Human hair wigs offer full versatility. Wash, blow dry on a low heat setting, and style with hot tools as needed. Always use sulfate-free products and a heat protectant. Coloring is possible but should always be done professionally and never over an existing custom color.

Can I swim in my wig?

You can, but use a waterproof adhesive and a swimming cap in chlorinated pools. Chlorine dries out the hair and can alter the color over time. Always rinse thoroughly afterward.

Where is my order?

Once your order has been collected, you will receive a tracking email. If tracking has not arrived within the expected timeframe, check your junk folder first then contact us at hello@plastiquebeauty.com with your order number.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Installment options are available at checkout.

Can I color or chemically process my wig?

We do not recommend chemical processing. If you want a custom color, reach out before ordering and we can discuss options.
