Meet Our Founder

I started behind the chair. Before the stages, before the cameras, before any of this, I was a hairstylist. Hair was already everything to me. The way it could shift how someone held themselves, the way a good cut could change the energy in a person's eyes. I understood that early and I never stopped believing it.

Long before anyone knew my name, I was making wigs. Each one crafted with intention, each one a quiet step toward something bigger. A dream of performing, of building, of becoming. The craft came first. Everything else followed.

Then came Plastique Tiara. Built piece by piece, deliberately and unapologetically, in a country that was not mine, in a language I was still learning. Every wig I put on was both a craft decision and a personal one. I knew how it was supposed to be made and I knew exactly what it needed to feel like.

That standard has never changed. These pieces exist because you deserve nothing less.

Plastique Beauty is a luxury wig and beauty brand founded by Duc Tran, known to millions as Plastique Tiara. Born in Vietnam and launched onto the world stage through RuPaul's Drag Race, Plastique Tiara has spent over a decade building one of drag's most recognizable personas from the ground up, with an international following and a touring career that spans the globe.

Plastique Beauty was born from a simple belief: that the right wig, on the right person, at the right moment, can change everything. Every piece in this collection reflects that. The lace, the density, the cut, nothing is accidental. This is a collection built by someone who has spent years on both sides of the chair and knows exactly what quality looks and feels like.
